01 Delete it yourself, in the app

This is the fastest route and it takes effect immediately.

1. Open Waggle and sign in.
2. Go to Profile (the last tab).
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm when asked. The app signs you out and the account is gone.

There is no waiting period and no review. The confirmation step is there because the deletion cannot be undone.

02 If you cannot open the app

If you have lost the device or cannot sign in, email sankur.kundu.tw@gmail.com from an address you control, with the phone number the account uses. We will verify the request and delete the account within 30 days.

Deleting the account removes your record and everything that references it, in full:

04 What is kept, and why

Two things survive deletion, and it is better to say so than to imply a clean sweep:

• Reports other people filed about your content are kept, with your identifier removed so they no longer point at you. A safety report that vanishes when the reported account is deleted is a report system that can be defeated by deleting the account.
• Encrypted infrastructure backups taken before the deletion still contain a copy until they age out of the normal backup rotation and are overwritten. They are not accessible to the app and are never used to restore a deleted account.

05 Deleting some data without deleting the account

You do not have to delete the whole account to remove things:

• A post — open it in Community and tap the bin icon on your own post. It is removed for everyone.
• A message — press the bin on your own message in a chat. It is removed for everyone in that chat.
• Location sharing — turn off Share stats with community in Profile → Settings. You come off the shared map immediately.
• Trip history — email the address above and ask for your recorded trips to be cleared without touching the rest.
